Texture repeat round cylinder - ANSWERED

Hi there,

I’m trying to add a texture to a cylinder and set it to repeat as many times as it needs to whilst keeping its original size/aspect-ratio. I’ve tried a few different approaches but none have really worked or I’ve had to explicitly set the diffuse repeat on the basic material op which isn’t ideal.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

right now you are using the viewport size as texture size, which is not the aspect ratio of your cylinder.
