Mesh and morphing

Hello,

I’m trying to experiment with meshes and morphing techniques but it seems that most objects dealing with these are broken at the moment.

Each time I get a “shader error”, like this one :

ERROR: 0:28: 'mod3__fade' : identifiers containing two consecutive underscores (__) are reserved as possible future keywords
ERROR: 0:29: 'mod3__doMorph' : identifiers containing two consecutive underscores (__) are reserved as possible future keywords
ERROR: 0:117: 'mod3__doMorph' : undeclared identifier
ERROR: 0:118: 'mod3__fade' : undeclared identifier
ERROR: 0:118: 'mod3__fade' : undeclared identifier

This concerns the “MeshMorph”, “MorphGeometries”, “MorphGeometriesFaces”, and “MeshSequence” objects. The “MeshSequence” documentation example seems broken aswell as most of the patches using these.

Hi there,
Thanks for the report.
Could you also post an example patch of how you’re using them so we can investigate this some more?

Of course, here is the basic example I’m trying to work on https://cables.gl/edit/BtkUYj

Hm same thing here, is there a way to get it to work?

Hi

i fixed the shader compile error.
that patch still won’t work because the meshes have different numbers of vertices.

this op relies on the same amounnt of vertices (and basically the same topology, because it just interpolates positions of vertices)

cheers

Thanks @pandur !
Of course for the number of vertices it makes sense.
