Creating a vertex shader

I am just trying out to add some vertex manipulation to my patches. e.g.
so far I came … not touching any matrix manipulations for now! :wink:
Perhaps is just my base knowledge of shaders - but is there a way in cables to add a vertex shader like it is possible for fragment shaders (like in this example just to manipulate the geometry and still use for example a phong material and pointlight ?

yes, very good idea…
we internally actually have a shader module system (color area, perlin area deform etc.), but there is no op that exposes this functionality for custom ops…
i’ll create this!
