Cables patch silent: what does it mean, since it is not really silent?

Why does the patch still log into the console, although silent is set to ‘true’ in the settings?
It is not something that important, yet I have always wondered why this feature does not seem to do what it promises. In my case the logs seem to refer to the gltf ops, is it because it is newer than the others?

“silent” is supressing op.log (our internal logging function) we can’t/don’t want to suppress console.log (basically javascripts own logging) so there will always something being logged (i.e. libraries out of our control that use console.log).

that being said, there is also a few ops left that use console.log and not op.log that we still have to clean up…
